Destiny Coffey

Pronouns: she/her/hers or they/them/theirs

Born and raised in Champaign County, Destiny has had a passion for working with others since a young age. In 2020, she graduated from Parkland College, and currently enrolled at EIU pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in interdisciplinary studies. Given the wide range of needs that people bring to township, Destiny’s ability to handle what can be a very stressful environment while focusing on school is admirable.

Until Destiny, township did not have a front desk advocate with this wealth of reception experience. Staff were amazed as they watched her juggle multiple calls and people walking in simultaneously. Her deep care for our community comes through as she helps people navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

When Destiny first joined the team, she started as a front desk advocate. Until Destiny, township did not have a front desk advocate with such wealth of reception experience. Her deep care for our community showed as she worked quickly and efficiently to provide the best possible resources to clients in challenging moments of their lives.
Now, Destiny works to support a variety of Township services. Whether she is helping with our assistance programs, emergency housing, or a random task, you can find Destiny working to support a case manager or client in need!
