Ariel Davenport
Pronouns: she/her/hers
Ariel Osler-Davenport is a Chambana native who graduated from Champaign Central High School and attended Northern Illinois University to study English and Social Work. As the oldest of 8, she has always cared for others. Ariel has served our community in various ways: helping families and individuals afford their medications, teaching middle school students leadership skills and cultural awareness, and elementary students social-emotional skills. In 2024, Ariel and her family experienced homelessness. As a result, Ariel completed one of our programs.
Currently, Ariel is working on finishing her Bachelor’s degree and has combined her passion for helping people with her position as CARES Outreach Worker, where she gets to assist people experiencing homelessness and connects them to resources. When not at work, Ariel is tending to her garden and plants, and chasing after her three young children.
