Demetris Lambert
Pronouns: she/her/hers
I am originally from Chicago, IL. I’ve always had a passion for helping and supporting others since a young age. I graduated from Rowe Clark Math & Science Academy in Chicago, IL. I pursued my Bachelor’s in Psychology & minor in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated in 2021. I would like to pursue my MSW at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well.
I have 3+ years of experience in social services and began my career in mental health and social services at The Pavilion then I moved on to Bethany Christian Services as an intact caseworker for 2 years. I have a diverse background in discharge planning, case management, and client care. I am skilled in conducting assessments, home visits, legal documentation, and crisis intervention. I am adept at offering empathetic support, engaging families, and advocating for clients’ well being across various service settings.
I am excited to start my new journey with Cunningham Township as a Disability & Wellness Case Manager. You can find me napping, playing with my dog, or eating my favorite food: steak tacos!
