  • Campaign For Fair Housing: Source of Income Protections in Urbana – 2024
    As of 2023, Source of income discrimination is protected class to the Illinois Human Rights Act to decrease housing discrimination which often targets low-income minority groups who use legal forms of alternative income such as housing vouchers (Section 8), rental assistance, and other forms of income. The purpose of this report is to examine what groups are facing this discrimination and what local community organizations do to support and combat housing discrimination and enforce the law.
