Campaign to End Homelessness

Welcome to the Campaign to End Homelessness Page!

This page serves as a place to put updates and information regarding the Continuum of Service Provider’s to the Homeless (CSPH) Strategic Plan in collaboration with consultant Homebase. It is updated with materials and information being developed and created during the planning process.

In March 2026, Homebase conducted an online community survey with 113 people completing the survey. Almost half of the respondents lived in the City of Champaign and another 30% lived in the City of Urbana. The results of that survey and details can be found using the link below:

Champaign County Survey Results

The survey looked at community engagement and perceptions additional to service provider perspectives. Almost half of all respondents were service providers who worked directly with people experiencing homelessness and 20% of respondents were elected officials or local government staff.

In case you missed it, the CSPH and Homebase, sponsored by the I-Hotel, hosted a Plan to End Homelessness Kick-Off Event on March 16th at the I-Hotel.

During this event, Homebase shared information about Champaign County’s numbers regarding homelessness, racial disparities occurring, and much more. Below you will find these documents shared during the kick off.

Disclaimer: All of the information below is preliminary and some data points may have some inaccuracies due to missing data. This page will be regularly updated with new findings as more information is shared and collected from community members and service providers in Champaign County.
